The Stories Behind The Cosy Print Co: A Look Into Our Collections
Hi, I’m Emily – the founder of The Cosy Print Company – and I thought it was about time I shared a little more about the collections we offer and the stories behind them. Every print I design means something to me personally, and I’ve loved watching them grow into full collections that now live on your walls, too.
🐾 The Pet Collection 🐾
This one’s really close to my heart. The very first design in The Pet Collection was inspired by my cockapoo, Minnie. She’s full of character, with the kind of expression that just had to be captured on paper. I wanted a way to celebrate her that felt timeless, personal, and looked beautiful in our home – and that’s where it all began.
Since then, I’ve had the absolute joy of drawing so many of your pets, from sleepy spaniels to sassy cats. Each one is hand-drawn and can be customised to suit your style – and honestly, they’re some of my favourite pieces to create.

🏠 The Home Collection 🏠
The Home Collection was born out of my love for thoughtful interiors – cosy, calm, and full of charm. Whether it’s a kitchen that always smells of baking or a quiet corner with your favourite chair, I wanted to design prints that feel like they belong in your space. They’re a mix of soft minimalism and playful touches – little pieces that bring warmth and personality to every room.
🌍 The Northern Collection🌍
I’m a proud Middlesbrough girl now living in Hartlepool, and The Northern Collection is my love letter to the North East. From the Headland to the Transporter Bridge, Seaton to the Boro – every print in this range is rooted in where I’m from. The local sayings and iconic landmarks are designed to spark memories, start conversations, and bring a bit of Teesside pride into your home. Whether you’re still local or living further afield, these prints are a way to keep a little piece of home with you. I have only recently moved back to Teesside (some might say the "Real" north), I previously lived in Pontefract, with that in mind I plan to grow the collection to not just Teesside, but Yorkshire too, so expect plenty of "Ey up cocker" and "fancy a brew" prints sneaking in there.

If you know me, you know how much I love Disney. I’ve visited the parks more times than I can count, and I’m always inspired by the magic, nostalgia, and joy those moments bring. The Disney Collection is full of prints based on my favourite characters, quotes, and trends – created for fellow Disney lovers who want to bring a touch of that wonder into their homes. Whether it's subtle and stylish or bold and magical, there’s something here for every kind of Disney fan.

😏 The Naughty Corner 😏
Not everything has to be sweet and sentimental – sometimes, you just need a good laugh (or a well-timed swear word). The Naughty Corner is full of unapologetically bold prints – cheeky quotes, sweary humour, and adult-only banter that’s perfect for home bars, bathrooms, or that one mate who’s always a bit too honest. It’s the collection I have the most fun designing, and it’s definitely where my sarcastic side comes out!
